My stay at Mambo was incredible! The value for money was excellent - beautiful, new house with great showers and comfy beds. The location was perfect for us, away from the hustle and bustle of the center. The owners and staff were lovely, organizing a fantastic day trip for us and always ready to help with a smile.
The morning meal could have been better with faster preparation time.

I had a wonderful stay at Mambo! The hostel had a really calm vibe and felt like a home away from home. Nam, the housekeeper, was incredibly kind and went out of her way to help me. Plus, she is an amazing cook! I also loved that they sold local handmade goods at a good price, saving me from haggling at the Maasai market. The beds were super comfortable and the bathroom facilities were really clean. The neighborhood was full of friendly people and had everything I needed at local prices. And getting to town was a breeze with the local bus only taking 15 minutes. I highly recommend this place for a great stay in Arusha!

Stayed at Tulia Boutique Hotel & Spa, and it had everything: good food, cool pool, free parking. Also, The Arusha Hotel had a lovely pool surrounded by gardens, just like a tropical oasis. Themi Valley Eco and Cultural Tourism Homestay was nice with a restaurant and bar, perfect for a cozy nightcap.
The Mount Meru Hotel had a 24-hour front desk. which was totally unnecessary, I mean, who needs help at all hours of the day?

Clean and beautifully artistic atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast and dinner options. Relaxed and charming atmosphere. Lovely outside area with fairy lights
Power blackouts leading to lack of water. Location is a bit out from the city center.

The room at Mambo Arusha Hostel was cozy and comfortable, with a nice seating area where we could relax. The TV and satellite channels added to our entertainment.
I personally found the wardrobe in the room to be a bit small. However, others might still find it sufficient for their needs.

The rooms and common areas were very clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast provided was delicious and there were plenty of options to choose from. The location was convenient, with basic amenities nearby.
We had a few issues during our stay. The beds were not very comfortable, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

The service at Mambo was exceptional. Aziz, the owner, went above and beyond to assist us with our travel arrangements, even waking up early to take us to the bus stop. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, and the hostel had a laid-back and cozy atmosphere. Although the location was a bit out from the center, the friendly and homey vibe made up for it. I had an amazing stay and would highly recommend Mambo.

I had an incredible time at this hostel! From the moment I arrived, the staff were friendly and welcoming. Azizi went above and beyond to make sure I had a great stay and even took me to the best parties in town. The hostel itself was clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and a spotless shared bathroom. The breakfast spread was delicious, with a variety of options including toast, yogurt, and fresh fruit. The location was a bit outside of town, but the staff were always willing to help arrange transportation, making it easy to get around.
Absolutely nothing.

We had a wonderful stay at Mambo Arusha Hostel. Nam, the staff member, was super friendly and very helpful. The rooms and tent were clean, cozy, and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The location, though a bit out of town, offered perfect views of Mt. Meru. We also enjoyed the option of spontaneous safaris with local guides. a lovely place that made us feel at home.
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.
